For iPhone and iPad
DuVoca: Two Voices
Face-to-face talk translator
Two people, two languages, one phone. Lay it on the table between you and just talk: each of you reads the other in your own language.
Coming soon to the App Store
Requires iOS or iPadOS 26.4 or later.

How it works
Lay the phone between you
The screen splits in two. The top half turns to face the other person, so each of you reads from your own side.
Talk as you normally would
Tap Start once. DuVoca works out which of your two languages each sentence is in and translates it, so nobody passes the phone or presses a button.
Read the answer in your language
The other person’s words appear on your half, translated. Yours appear on theirs, in large letters that are easy to read across a table.
A conversation, sentence by sentence
Every sentence appears on both halves: on the speaker’s half as it was said, on the other half translated.
The conversation as text (At the bar)
You: What do you recommend tonight?
Translation: ¿Qué me recomienda esta noche?
Waiter: Las gambas al ajillo. Nos llegaron frescas esta mañana.
Translation: The garlic prawns. They came in fresh this morning.
You: Perfect. And a glass of white wine, please.
Translation: Perfecto. Y una copa de vino blanco, por favor.
The conversation as text (At the station)
You: Which platform does the train to Rotterdam leave from?
Translation: Van welk spoor vertrekt de trein naar Rotterdam?
Information assistant: Spoor 5b. Hij vertrekt over twaalf minuten.
Translation: Platform 5b. It leaves in twelve minutes.
You: Thank you! Do I need to change trains?
Translation: Dank u! Moet ik overstappen?
The conversation as text (At the airport)
You: Excuse me, where is gate B12?
Translation: Entschuldigung, wo ist Gate B12?
Airport agent: Geradeaus, dann die Rolltreppe hoch. Etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuß.
Translation: Straight ahead, then up the escalator. About five minutes on foot.
You: Thanks! Is there still time for a coffee?
Translation: Danke! Reicht die Zeit noch für einen Kaffee?
Made for real conversations
At a bar, a station or an airport desk: wherever you need to understand someone, and they need to understand you.

At the station: which platform
At the airport: the way to the gate
Everything stays on your device
Speech recognition and translation run on your iPhone or iPad. Nothing is ever uploaded.
- No account and no sign-up.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
- A conversation is saved only if you choose to keep it, and only on your device.
Before the first conversation, DuVoca downloads its speech model (about 0.5 GB) and iOS downloads the language packs for your pair, ideally over Wi-Fi. After that, conversations work offline.
Keep what was said
When you end a conversation of 30 seconds or more, DuVoca asks whether to keep it; shorter ones are not kept. A kept conversation can be played back, corrected sentence by sentence, renamed and shared as bilingual text or as audio.
Eight languages, any two
Choose any two of these languages for a conversation:
- Polski
- English

Start free
Your first 30 minutes of conversation are free, in total. After that, a one-time purchase unlocks unlimited conversations: no subscription, no account.
Only time spent in a conversation counts, and pausing stops the clock. Your saved conversations stay yours to read and share, even when the free minutes are used up.
Questions
Does the other person need the app?
No. One phone is enough: it lies between you, and each of you reads your own half.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes, once the speech model and the language packs for your pair are on the device. Download them before you travel, ideally over Wi-Fi.
Which devices does DuVoca run on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 26.4 or later.
Is anything recorded or sent anywhere?
Nothing is ever uploaded. While you talk, DuVoca records the conversation on your device, so that you can keep it. When a conversation of 30 seconds or more ends, you decide whether to keep it; anything you don’t keep is deleted.
Is it a subscription?
No. After the free 30 minutes, one purchase unlocks unlimited conversations for good.
Which languages can I use?
Polish, English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, in any pair.
